The Florida Minority Baseball Alliance (FMBA) invites middle high school players 2026 to 2031, families, coaches, and scouts to experience two unforgettable days of competition, connection, and culture.

2nd Annual Florida Verified Tour(FVT) ORLANDO | November 22
The premier player evaluation event returns to Orlando, giving athletes the opportunity to measure, test, and prove their baseball potential in front of college coaches and professional scouts.
Complete your verified profile through:
  • 60-yard dash timing with laser precision
  • Throwing velocity measurements across positions
  • Exit velocity testing with Blast Motion sensors
  • Positional drills and defensive analysis
  • Live batting evaluations with video breakdown

Game Format & Training Structure
Modified Gameplay Rules
  • Pitcher Rotation: Maximum 7 batters per outing to maximize participation
  • Guaranteed Reps: Each hitter gets at least 3 at-bats for consistent development
  • Positional Rotation: Players move through multiple positions for versatility
  • Community Venues: Local parks and school complexes ensure accessibility and hometown pride
Situational Training Phase
After three innings, games pivot into focused situational baseball sessions:
  • Double plays, bunt defenses, and outfield relays
  • Pitchers working through jams and managing counts
  • Communication and leadership under game stress
Coaches pause live action to teach—delivering feedback in real time so players understand not just what happened, but why it matters.

Post-event data and detailed player profiles are shared with participating programs, complete with scouting reports and one-on-one session notes. Players are benchmarked against collegiate standards, giving scouts the context they need to make informed recruiting decisions.

Sunday brings the heart and soul of baseball back to the community. This day features a multiple charity games honoring Coach Rick Humphery, and the revolutionary FVT Sandlot Sunday Development Experience.
Sandlot Sunday strips away the noise of high-pressure competition and brings back what the game was meant to be—fun, instructional, and community-driven. It's where structured competition meets creative development, giving athletes a stage to play freely, learn deeply, and develop mentally without constant fear of failure or judgment.

Charity Game & Tribute
On November 26, 2024, the FMBA family lost a major piece of who we are with the passing of Coach Rick Humphery. Coach Rick’s passion for coaching, teaching, and mentoring players in the game of baseball goes unmatched and his legacy will live on in FMBA.
On Sunday FMBA will host several charity game to celebrate mentorship, legacy, and Coach Rick's love for the game. FMBA is partnering with The American Cancer Society in memory of Coach Rick's in support Pancreatic Cancer Research.
